Access Guide: Hakuba Iwatake
From Tokyo
Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes). From Nagano Station, take the Alpico Express Bus to Hakuba (approximately 1 hour). Get off at Hakuba Iwatake stop. The gondola base station is a 2-minute walk from the bus stop.
By Car
From Tokyo, follow the Chuo Expressway to the Nagano Expressway, exiting at Azumino IC. Continue north on Route 147 and Route 148 to Hakuba village. Iwatake is located in the northern part of Hakuba village. Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours from Tokyo. Free parking is available.
Local Transport
Free shuttle buses connect major accommodations in Hakuba village to the Iwatake gondola station during ski season.
